Great weather, amazing track, and awesome people… We had an absolute blast racing at Cahuilla Creek MX!
Many folks showed up Saturday morning for practice to get dialed in on the main track, which is not often ridden by us mortal vet riders. We heard a lot of positive feedback on the layout and flow, as well as it being a little tight for passing. Regardless, it seemed everyone enjoyed putting in laps and just having fun riding. After practice, we had a club meeting to go over the year and what’s coming up in the near future. (We’ll be posting some very important updates soon.)
Sunday was race day. SoCal Vet MX joined us for a combined racing schedule that allowed everyone to race multiple motos and score points with both clubs if they desired. It was all smiles, grit, and even some laughter as everyone battled it out in all 10 races (20 motos). When it was all said and done we wrapped up at about 2:30pm. A successful race day!
Can you believe it had been five years since we last raced Cahuilla Creek MX? There’s no particular reason why we haven’t been back other than schedules not syncing up, but you better believe we will be working hard to get it on the calendar for 2025!
