Welcome to the 2024 OTHG Classic! This is the 2nd year we are putting on this event and once again we are inviting ALL vet age riders near and far to be a part of it! The “Classic” part of the name comes in the form of running a more traditional racing format, which includes 10 year age gap classes and no membership requirements.
Here are some quick facts and highlights:
- NO OTHG Membership Required!
- No additional fees if you are not a member
- South Chapter OTHG Members who attend this event and complete 2 motos will be given 35 points toward their season standings
- 23 Vet Classes
- 30+, 40+, 50+ age groups with Beginner through Expert skill levels
- 60+ with Novice through Expert skill levels
- Vet Open Classes (mixed age) with Beginner through Expert skill levels
- Great as a 2nd class!
- Warrior Open – NEW FOR 2024! Military/Veterans Only
- 125cc Vet Open – Small bore 2-strokes!
- Clydesdale Open – Must be at least 220lbs with gear on
- OTHG Master Open ($1,000 Purse!) – For the fastest vet riders
- 1st Place: $500
- 2nd Place: $300
- 3rd Place: $200
- OTHG Masters who do not wish to compete in the Master Open may compete in an Expert class
- Jr Support Class is available for those under 30 years of age. NO Kids Support class
- Must be 30 years of age as of December 31, 2024 to compete in the 30+ division
- Similarly, if you turn 40, 50, or 60 by the end of this year, you are eligible for those classes
- Online Pre-Registration Fees:
- OTHG Master Open (Purse Paying) = $50
- All Non-Purse Classes = $40 for first class
- 2nd/3rd class = $20
As you can see, we have a class (or 2 or 3) for vet riders of all ages and skill levels to participate in. The total class count is actually a little less than our normal races, so you can still expect long motos and the total count of races to remain reasonable.
