With the 2022 season wrapped up, we just wanted to provide some updates to give everyone a jump start on 2023!
2023 Preliminary Schedule
Our 2023 Race Schedule is starting to take shape! We are still working out the fine details, especially for the late Summer/Fall portion of the season, but we should have everything locked in before the end of the year.
Year-End Banquet
Our first event of 2023 will be the celebration and awards for our 2022 season! You don’t want to miss this! We are back at Morongo Casino once again after it being such a huge hit last time. Same as last year, the price per attendee will go up each month. That means the lowest price for this event ends at midnight November 30th. Get signed up today!
The banquet is 35 points to all members who attend and is the best way to start off your 2023 season! It is also NOT droppable.
Board Nominations
PLEASE be sure to stop by our forum and nominate a fellow (willing) member for a 2023 South Chapter Board Position. Here is the current outlook:
- President
- Rich Hurtado has signaled that he will step away for 2023
- Steve Lerma Jr has been nominated and accepted the position
- Vice President
- Bryan Dodge Jr has been nominated
- Race Director
- Barrett Kiick has been nominated
- Statistician
- Travis Wolf has signaled that he would like to stay for another year and has been nominated
- Secretary
- Currently open, though we know Chris Cumbo does enjoy the position
- Treasurer
- Currently open
- Web Director
- Currently open, though James Kibbe has signaled that he would like to stay in the position for 2023
To be clear, none of the positions are locked yet. Anyone can be nominated for any position. Multiple nominations will go to a vote.
