In its second year, the OTHG Classic had another successful day of vet racing at Glen Helen Raceway! Weather was clear and warm and we had great track conditions. It’s not Glen Helen unless it gets rough though, and it certainly got choppy as the day wore on. There were vet riders from all over who joined us, many of which who took advantage of multiple classes to get in on some additional fun.
The Clydesdale Class proved once again to be a huge draw, and we’re not just talking about the size of the riders. Dakota Garner (#261) won the big boy class with a 1-1 finish while also pulling double duty in the Master Open, taking 3rd overall there!
Speaking of the Master Open, Sean Lipanovich (#505) dominated for the second year by breaking out to a big lead in both of the 20 minute plus 1 lap motos. He took home an extra $500 with his overall victory. Will someone challenge him ’25? Join us next year to find out!

This was another great event and I think it went very well. Only a couple hiccups, like people signing up in wrong class, for example: Being an intermediate as an OTHG Member but signing up as a Novice for this event seems to be wrong in my book. But all in all great event look forward to the next one!!!
