Round 1 of the South vs Valley Series kicked off at Cal City MX Park. With a fresh design and arguably some of the best dirt in Southern California, folks were excited to get out and make a statement at the first track on the 2023 schedule.
The weather proved to be part of the challenge on the day. While rain drizzled down in the morning, it fortunately let up before practice had even begun. The sun started to shine just as the true test arrived in the form of 20mph+ winds. Masters, experts, and even a few intermediates proved their skill by taking on Cal City’s famous leaps as the wind gusts increased in intensity. All others riders proved their intelligence by working on their corners to survive another day!
